Master ASI trainer Ron Jackson has been providing consultation, training, training-of-trainers and training of facilitators on the Addiction Severity Index (ASI) to clinicians, administrators, researchers, states and agencies across the United States. He also provides training and technical assistance to agencies and individuals on the delivery of opiate substitution treatment interventions and the use of Motivational Interviewing interventions.

Kathy Meyers, Ph.D.
 
Kathy Meyers is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry with the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Senior Research Scientist with System Measures, Inc. She has over 15 years experience in adolescent assessment, health services, HIV and substance abuse research. Dr. Meyers designed the Comprehensive Adolescent Severity Inventory (CASI), a standardized multidimensional assessment instrument that evaluates psychosocial functioning of youth. She consults (and trains) staff regularly with court systems, drug treatment programs, mental health programs, and schools with regard to critical issues in adolescent assessment, triage/referral, service delivery, and outcomes evaluation. She is currently principal investigator of a NIDA-sponsored grant evaluating the CASI's psychometric properties and computerization among sub-populations of adolescent youth. She has served on a variety of Institutional Review Boards, Scientific Advisory Boards, Grant Review Committees, and Expert Panels.
